Offered here is an authentic Winchester Model 12 Skeet Grade shotgun chambered in 16 gauge, featuring a 28″ solid rib barrel and factory receiver marking “SKEET” on the bottom of the action. Serial number 868239 dates this shotgun to 1943 production.

The Winchester Model 12, often referred to as the “Perfect Repeater,” was designed by T.C. Johnson and remains one of the finest pump-action shotguns ever produced. Built during the classic pre-1964 era of Winchester craftsmanship, these shotguns were fully machined from forged steel and hand fitted, resulting in the smooth cycling and durability for which the Model 12 is known.

This Skeet Grade example features a factory solid rib with a silver mid-bead and Bradley-style red front bead. The barrel is stamped Modified choke and is chambered for 2¾” shells. The 16 gauge configuration offers excellent balance and lively handling, making it ideal for upland hunting or clay target shooting.
