Offered for sale is a Belgian Browning Superposed P2 chambered in 28 gauge with 2¾” chambers and 26” ventilated rib barrels. Serial number PE3RR1320 confirms 1977 Belgian production. This example is engraved by J. Baerten and retains its original Browning hard case.
The P2 grade represents one of the most desirable configurations in the Superposed line, featuring hand-engraved game scenes with gold inlaid flying birds framed by classic FN scrollwork. The engraving coverage extends across the receiver, fences, and bottom plate, executed in traditional Belgian style with refined detail and clean border work. The gold trigger complements the gold game bird inlays, creating a balanced and elegant presentation.
